Dubbo Aboriginal Medical Service, otherwise known as ‘DAMS’, was opened in 2013 as an initiative of Bila Muuji Aboriginal Health Services Inc. and the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council (AH&MRC) with the prime aim of providing continuity of primary health care to the Dubbo Aboriginal Community.
Dubbo, often referred to as the “hub of the west,” is a dynamic regional centre within the Orana region. It is located on the traditional lands of the Tubba-Gah people of the Wiradjuri Nation.
