Dubbo Regional Aboriginal Health Service (DRAHS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of Aboriginal Health Practitioner (AHP). This role will work closely with the clinical team in the delivery of primary health care.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners play a vital role in the primary health workforce. They provide clinical and primary health care for individuals, families and community groups. They deal with patients, clients and visitors to hospitals and health clinics. They also assist in arranging, coordinating and providing health care within the Dubbo Community. The Aboriginal Health Practitioner will undergo continuous training to fulfil this role.
